Best practices in K-12 online teaching: a quantitative study exploring secondary classrooms
Education in the 21st century is rapidly changing and expanding. The last 15 years has introduced a new concept of online education to students and schools throughout the nation. As online schooling continues to grow in K–12 schools in the United States, and technology increases in the brick and mortar classroom, there is a great need to identify best practices in both settings. Data were gathered using an online Likert-scale survey, distributed to secondary online teachers who were also brick-and-mortar teachers.
