AS A VOLUNTEER
The 'Collegiate' Quartet is a name which symbolizes enjoyment, music and a spiritual blessing to thousands of people throughout the Midwest. Under the direction of the Public Relations Department of Bethany Nazarene College, this quartet has traveled representing the College in churches and other groups across the West Central Educational Zone of the Church of the Nazarene. This zone includes western Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska.
The quartet endeavors to represent the Motto of Bethany Nazarene College in every aspect. "Character, Culture, and Christ" must always be the compelling force behind the quartet as it sings the gospel of Christ. Musicianship is to be honored and respected. However, more important than the worship of music is the worship of God through music. A ringing personal testimony, through music, is the sincere desire of the quartet. Today, as in the past, Bethany Nazarene College is interested in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus to all men everywhere through the medium of Music.
The members of the quartet study voice with Professor Lester L. Dunn, Chairman of the Division of Fine Arts, with the sincere purpose of doing the most with the gift that God has given them.
